The California High-Speed Rail Authority (Authority) will be hosting six community open house meetings in the LA-Anaheim Project Section from October 15 through October 28. The first meeting on the 15th is at the Anaheim ARTIC train station from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. These meetings are to update the public on the progress and refinements made as well as to gather public feedback on the proposed alternatives. The LA-Anaheim corridor is a critical link that will connect the many diverse communities in Los Angeles and Orange Counties with an allegedly cleaner and more efficient mode of transportation.
The California High-Speed Rail Authority’s (Authority) Los Angeles to Anaheim Project Section will connect Los Angeles and Orange counties with high-speed rail traveling from Los Angeles Union Station to Anaheim Regional Transportation Intermodal Center (ARTIC), along the existing Los Angeles-San Diego-San Luis Obispo (LOSSAN) rail corridor currently used by commuter, regional and freight rail providers (Metrolink, AMTRAK and BNSF).
