We are pleased to announce that the California-China Office of Trade and Investment is now accepting applications for an executive delegation to China from October 12-19.
Produced in partnership with the Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development and led by several members of the Brown Administration, the trip will focus on developing trade and investment opportunities related to smart cities, higher education, and investment. Delegates will travel through Beijing, Tianjin, Hangzhou, and Shanghai, and will visit with government and business leaders in the four cities, tour massive projects in China, and meet with high-profile potential Chinese investors.
The trip will include the Second Annual US-CHINA Collaboration Symposium on Creating Smart Cities at Fudan University on October 18th. This year’s summit will be modeled after last year’s very successful event at Marvell in the Bay Area – bringing government leaders and business and industry professionals together from California and China to share their experiences and expertise. Besides this event, there will be also roundtables, forums, business matchmaking, luncheons and dinners in all four cities with themes related to the three focuses listed above.
