The Leon Owens Foundation (LOF) will be hosting its 20th Anniversary Gala and Fundraiser on Sept. 20, themed “20 Years of Making A Difference Together,” at The Hotel Fullerton, located at 1500 S. Raymond Ave. in Fullerton.
Kicking off the evening at 5:30 p.m. is a meet and greet, along with opening bids for the silent auction. Dinner will be served at 6:45 p.m. There will be award presentations, and our entertainment will feature Motown’s Brenda Holloway, The Pleasure Tones, and DJ Dennis Jackson.
The ticket price is $125.00 per person, which includes a social hour with appetizers, dinner plus dessert, entertainment, and dancing! Sponsorships for tables of 10 are available for $1,100.00. Throughout the evening guests will have the opportunity to bid for great silent auction items, purchase opportunity tickets for Taste of the Town ($1,000 grand prize), and raffle prizes.
During the gala, LOF will be celebrating the 2014 scholarship recipients Cheyennean Bedonie and Samuel Melakaberhan from Cal State Fullerton, Devin Melendez from University of Oregon, and Ciara Riddle from Azusa Pacific University.
