SACRAMENTO – Assemblywoman Sharon Quirk-Silva (D-Fullerton) today announced passage of critical legislation to help California retain and create aerospace industry business. Assembly Bill (AB) 2389 authored by Assemblyman Steve Fox (D-Palmdale) and co-authored by Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva, cleared the Assembly and Senate with bipartisan support and next heads to the Governor’s desk for consideration.
“California is an innovator and longtime leader in the nation’s aerospace industry,” said Assemblywoman Quirk-Silva. “AB 2389 keeps our aerospace facilities competitive, our skilled workers employed, and our research and development on the cutting edge. I’m proud to support this legislation.”
