Free Seminar Offers Help from Nonprofit Experts on July 14
Nonprofit managers and others who have questions or would like more information about state tax laws are invited to attend a free tax seminar in Fullerton on Monday, July 14, 2014. California State Board of Equalization (BOE) Vice Chair Michelle Steel, the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce and California State University, Fullerton are sponsoring this free event.
Representatives from the BOE, Employment Development Department, Franchise Tax Board, and the Office of the California Attorney General will offer informative presentations on sales and use tax for nonprofits, compliance for exempt organizations, employment taxes and nonprofits, property tax exemptions and nonprofits, and regulations of charities.
