On September 15, 2015, the Fullerton City Council approved the Community Participation Plan in connection with formation of proposed city council district boundaries for a district elections ballot measure to present to the voters in November 2016.
The City has completed the first round of individual meetings with Compass Demographics.
The next step in the Community Participation Plan is to hold four community meetings throughout the City to gather citizen input on the mapping process on a larger scale in a workshop setting.
Dates, times and locations for the four Community Meetings are as follows:
- Wednesday, November 4, 2015 – 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Orangethorpe United Methodist Church – 2351 West Orangethorpe Avenue - Saturday, November 7, 2015 – 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Hope International University – 2500 East Nutwood Avenue - Tuesday, November 10, 2015 – 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.
Maple Neighborhood Center – Lemon Park, 701 South Lemon - Saturday, November 14, 2015 – 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
Sunny Hills High School – 1801 Warburton Way
Translators will be present to assist with language needs in Spanish, Korean, Chinese and Vietnamese.
