Fullerton College was recently awarded funding totaling $3 million, for three new programs designed to connect academics to employment in high-demand fields. Funding was made possible by the California Career Pathways Trust, which established a one-time, $250 million competitive grant program in the state’s 2013-14 budget. Recipients were tasked with creating sustained career pathway programs that connect businesses, K-12 schools, and community colleges to better prepare students for the 21st century workplace.
