A $245,000 grant written by Psychologists Dallas and Debra Stout, of DoctorS Nonprofit Consulting, has been funded for the Boys & Girls Club of Westminster by the State of California.
The 21st Century High School After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens (ASSET) Program grant for the Boys & Girls Club of Westminster was specifically designed to impact five core areas, academic assistance, enrichment, family literacy services, nutritious snack, and physical activity.
The goal of this program is to provide a wide variety of age and grade level appropriate strategies and activities that are evidence based and linked to program goals. This will be accomplished by hands-on, student-centered enrichment activities that incorporate and combine academics, youth development, and recreational learning. “The Boys and Girls Club of Westminster was one of our earliest clients 10 years ago when we founded this business,” said Debra Stout. “We are so very pleased to have helped to bring these much needed resources to their community.”
The Stouts specialize in the needs of Orange County nonprofit agencies.
