All Aboard! More than 100 chamber volunteers from San Diego to Santa Barbara are on track to share skills and experiences with the purpose of developing and advancing the role ambassadors play within Chambers of Commerce. The chamber ambassadors will convene at the annual Southern California Ambassador Rally, hosted this year by the Fullerton Chamber of Commerce, on Friday, August 22 at the Hotel Fullerton Crowne Plaza located at 1501 S. Raymond Ave. in Fullerton.
“Chamber Ambassadors are a special group of people who volunteer their time to help promote the business community and support Chamber functions. Ambassadors are usually the most outgoing, pro-active employees in their company. They project a positive image for the company they represent as well as for the Chamber. Ambassadors perform a wide variety of duties in the Chamber, but their main function is to help promote the Chamber and their programs, welcome new partners to the Chamber and make Chamber events successful and enjoyable for partners,” said Leah Song, membership director for the Fullerton Chamber who is spearheading the Rally.
