Fullerton Summer Concerts in the Park to start on Wednesday, July 9

Get ready! Summer Concerts in the Park start tomorrow. They will run on Wednesdays, from July 9-August 6, from 6:30-8:30 pm. Free admission! At the Fullerton Sports Complex (560 E. Silver Pine).

Enjoy an evening of music at the Fullerton Sports Complex. Bring your blankets, chairs and picnic dinner and get ready to enjoy some good music! Free arts and crafts are provided by the Fullerton Museum Center. Food will be available for purchase from Soho Tacos, Kettle Masters and Juice it up.

Redwoods Hike – Carbon Canyon Regional Park

Join OC Parks’ trained staff on an easy 1.1 mile hike to the park’s Coastal Redwood grove. You will use your 5 senses to engage with nature as you stroll to the Redwoods. You will also have an opportunity to learn about our native plants along the way. The hike begins each Saturday and Sunday morning at 9:30 a.m. through May from the park’s Nature Center. Walk for Coyote Hills set for Nov. 9, at the Fullerton Equestrian Center

The “Walk for Coyote Hills – A Park for All” event has been set for Saturday, November 9, 2013, at the Fullerton Equestrian Center, located at 2900 Lakeview Way in Fullerton, California – off Euclid, between Bastanchury Road and Imperial Highway.

Time: 9am-12pm (Check-in begins at 8:15am, Prizes/Awards at 11am).

This family friendly event features an easy 5K hike along the Fullerton Trails! Walk follows with a free festival celebrating the environment. Enjoy educational booths for children, prizes, giveaways, games, and booths featuring local businesses and organizations! Free OC Parks Sports Day set for July 20, at Craig Regional Park

OC Parks Sports Day is set for Saturday, July 20, 2013, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Craig Regional Park, located at 3300 State College Blvd., in Fullerton.

Event and parking are free and lunch will be provided. Activities and crafts provided for children under 6. Medals will be given to selected children participating in each sport.

OC Parks Presents the 2013 Summer Concert Series

OC Parks welcomes back its annual outdoor summer concert series. Thirteen free concerts at Craig Regional Park, Mason Regional Park, Mile Square Regional Park, Irvine Regional Park and Bluff Park at Salt Creek Beach will present Southern California artists performing live under the summer sky on Thursday evenings June through August.

Craig Regional Park in Fullerton will kick off the summer concert series with three free concerts. Thursday, June 6 welcomes acclaimed Oingo Boingo tribute band Dead Man’s Party performing with Michael Michael. June 13 presents ‘80s sensation Flashback Heart Attack with DJ Velvet Touch. The O.C. Supertones will bring ska to the park on June 20 performing with Mike Vitale. Continue reading→
