Fullerton College’s STEM & Entrepreneurship summer camp for junior high students includes exploring and creating all sorts of cool products focused on science, technology, engineering and/or math. Students will learn how to build a business in a simulated marketplace. Students will use computers, iPads, and will work with collaboration tools to develop a prototype of their idea. BYOD (bring your own device) is highly encouraged. Careers will be explored with an emphasis on STEM, entrepreneurship and innovation. The camp will close with students presenting their final project in a “Shark Tank” like business plan pitch in front of a panel of judges.
Free to 7th and 8th grade students. Registration closes June 15. Note: students must attend all 8 class sessions.
