Aris Hyung Yoon, 34, of Buena Park has been identified as the man arrested in connection with two sexual assaults at Fullerton College, according to the O.C. Register.
Yoon was arrested by the Fullerton Police on Feb. 1 but they didn’t released his name because the police officers were still investigating the assaults. The police had revealed at the time that a male suspect was believed to have grabbed two female students in the crotch.
The police were called to Fullerton College on the evening of Jan. 31 after two sexual-battery incidents happened within seven minutes of each other, according to the Fullerton Police.
Both of the crimes happened on campus walkways between the buildings located near Lemon Street and East Chapman Avenue.
Yoon was detained the day after the assaults by Fullerton College Campus Safety as he was acting erratically and displaying signs of being under the influence of a controlled substance. It also turned out that Yoon is not affiliated with the school.
If you were victimized by Yoon please call Fullerton Police Sgt. John Ema at 714-738-6580, or you may report a tip anonymously to the Orange County Crime Stoppers at 855-TIP-OCCS or at occrimestoppers.org.
