X Train, announced today the selection of Masterpiece Cuisine as the caterer for their luxury passenger train service. The company is engaged in developing luxury train travel service specializing in rail vacations in the US and Canada.
“Choosing Masterpiece Cuisine was a pleasure. Recently, Placentia-Linda Hospital’s CEO, Kent Clayton, was given the opportunity by One Legacy and the Association of Organ Procurement Organizations (AOPO) to handwrite a dedication to be placed on this year’s 2014 Donate Life Rose Parade float, themed “Light Up the World.”
Kent’s personal, handwritten message honored the patients and families who, with the support of Placentia-Linda Hospital and its staff, have saved and healed lives through the gift of organ, eye and tissue donation.
One of the trademarks of the annual Donate Life float design is a “Dedication Garden” filled with thousands of roses, each placed in a vial carrying a unique, personal message from an individual, family or organization. Kent’s handwritten message will be one of thousands of rose dedications from hospital CEOs across the country to be placed in the Donate Life float’s Dedication Garden for the world to see.

‘Tis the season to spend time with loved ones and indulge in holiday festivities. However, amidst the holiday cheer, it is easy to forget how hectic the streets can be as a result of overzealous drivers rushing to their destinations. The California Office of Traffic Safety has some tips for you to help you get through the holidays as safely and stress-free as possible.
When maneuvering through congested roadways and crowded shopping mall parking lots, it’s always a good idea to follow the basic rules of the road:
-Wear your seat belt. Every trip, every time
– Constantly scan the road in front of you, always know what is ahead to avoid last minute moves
– Be aware of what other drivers are doing on all sides of your vehicle – watch your front, back, right and left
-Watch for people who may not be following traffic signals or using turn indicators
– Always leave yourself an out. Be prepared by surrounding your vehicle with enough space in front and on at least one side to escape conflict
– Maintain proper following distance; the reaction time of a drunk driver is impaired so they may stop or swerve abruptly
– Stay alert and be watching for pedestrians. …read more
