Guest speaker at the November 14 meeting of the Fullerton Association of Concerned Taxpayers will be Thom Babcock, our city’s appointed representative to the Board of Directors of the Metropolitan Water District (MWD).
He will be discussing the Bay Delta Conservation Plan and diversion project, which is the most significant plan to secure imported water for Southern California in 40 years and will be partially funded by the water bond measure that will appear on the November 2014 General Election Ballot.
“These two items will be critical to water delivery for the next 50 years,” says Thom.
The meeting will be held at the Sizzler on North Harbor Blvd. Social hour starts at 6:00. Those wishing to order dinner should plan to do so at 6:30, with the program scheduled to start at 7:00.
The meeting is open to the public. Bring a neighbor or a friend!
