Elevate your holiday menus with the Arboretum’s new Thursdays in the Kitchen Autumn Harvest Class Series with cooking demonstrations and audience participation. The first class of the three part series begins at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 9:00 p.m. on September 26, 2013 at the Fullerton Arboretum Pavillion. Other classes in the series share the same times and location on October 24 and November 21.
Th expert team of Jonathan Dye and Jonathan Duffy Davis will lead you through a culinary exploration of the autumn harvest and give you the tools needed to wow your friends and family with fabulous seasonal fare. Each class will teach a complete meal, appropriate a variety of holiday events. As well, each class includes at least one deluxe hands-on activity and resulting batch of edible goodness to take home (think: pickled veggies, jams, preserves, chutneys and the like).
