BREA, CA, September 19, 2013 – It’s time for Brea’s most popular annual street party: Kidz Block Party 2013 (KBP)! Now in its 6th year, KBP will once again take center stage Halloween night in Brea Downtown. Sponsored by The Cause Community Church, KBP has grown in popularity and draws record crowds year after year.

Called “the bravest woman in Afghanistan” by the BBC. Time magazine placed Malalai Joya on their list of 100 most influential people in the world. Foreign Policy Magazine listed her in its annual list of the Top 100 Global Thinkers. The Guardian listed her among “Top 100 women: activists and campaigners.”

You can meet Joya on Sunday Oct 21, 2013, from 10 am – 12 noon at Langsdorf Hall (LH) Room 318, at Cal State Fullerton.

The  “Walk for Coyote Hills – A Park for All” event has been set for Saturday, November 9, 2013, at the Fullerton Equestrian Center, located at 2900 Lakeview Way in Fullerton, California – off Euclid, between Bastanchury Road and Imperial Highway.

Time: 9am-12pm (Check-in begins at 8:15am, Prizes/Awards at 11am).

This family friendly event features an easy 5K hike along the Fullerton Trails! Walk follows with a free festival celebrating the environment. Enjoy educational booths for children, prizes, giveaways, games, and booths featuring local businesses and organizations! The 2013 OC Fair Opens This Friday – Come & Get Free Admission & Much More

Costa Mesa, Calif. (July 8, 2013) – The 2013 OC Fair will open its gates Friday, July 12, to mark the beginning of the much-anticipated annual tradition that runs until Sunday, August 11 (open Wednesday-Sunday). The theme, “Come & Get It,” brings back familiar favorites, such as the All-Alaskan Pig Races and exhilarating carnival rides, as well as new features including Dr. Entomo’s Palace of Exotic Wonders, a sideshow-type insect exhibit, and the Summer in the Cities Presentation, a nightly multi-faceted celebration of Orange County.
