Want to be part of an arctic expedition and learn more about climate change? Fullerton has been invited by the Institute on Science for Global Policy (ISGP) to nominate citizens to personally experience what climate change means in their daily lives. This financially subsidized expedition will involve sailing on a vessel for one week in the Arctic and participating in debates and conversations with international scientists and policy makers. It is organized through partnerships formed by the ISGP with Lindblad-National Geographic Expeditions and the television broadcast/social media communities.
All those invited will have the chance to participate in organized debates and caucuses, excursions from the vessel, and informal discussions on the ISGP-Lindblad Project expedition vessel. ICCAP does not lobby for any specific conclusions, but seeks to provide citizens with opportunities to express their views. While most expenses will be covered, a nominal portion will be raised within the Fullerton Community.
Anyone wishing to be nominated should contact R.L. Schmidt at (562) 698-4990. For more information, please click here.
