The Fullerton Public Library will host an earthquake workshop on Tuesday, April 15, at 7 p.m. in the library’s community room. David Bowman, Ph.D., interim dean of College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics and professor of geological sciences at California State University, Fullerton, will discuss what happened during the March 28 earthquake, which faults may have been responsible, and what this could mean for future earthquakes.
The 5.1 magnitude earthquake and subsequent aftershocks centered on the city of La Habra with surrounding communities such as Fullerton, Brea, and La Mirada also experiencing the trauma caused by the tremors.
