The Fullerton Public Library and Fullerton Sunrise Rotary will host a job fair in the Fullerton Public Library Community Room on Saturday, April 5 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Participants will have an opportunity to practice interviewing skills and have their resume reviewed as well as learn about job and internship opportunities.
Participating organizations include Employment Development Department’s Youth Employment Opportunity Program, Anaheim Workforce Development, YWCA’s Youth Employment Services, City of Fullerton’s Parks and Recreation, A to Z Database, Score Small Business, City of Fullerton Human Resources, Orange County Conservation Corps and Charter School, Orange County One-Stop Center, VetNet, Volunteer Match, and Working Wardrobes.
Representatives from some of the participating companies will discuss job hunting in today’s economy, options for those not skilled in a STEM field, how to get a foot in the door, and more.
Pre-registration for mock interviews and resume reviews begin at 9:30 a.m., followed by a panel discussion at 10 a.m. Job seekers should bring copies of their resume and dress to impress!
