Local engineering and computer science leaders, including Cal State Fullerton alumni, will share with students their expertise and enthusiasm for engineering and technology careers at the Feb. 19 ”Professor for a Day” event, held in celebration of National Engineers Week.
Guest professors will address students enrolled in more than 20 classes in civil and environmental engineering, computer engineering, computer science, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering. The guest professors include:
- John Britigan (B.A. physics ’76), president, The Britigan Group in Orange
- Kevin Carnino, president, Mercury Defense Systems in Cypress
- Laurie Haack (B.S. computer science ’79, M.S. software engineering ’06), ProCon section manager, ThalesRaytheonSystems in Fullerton
- Darrell F. Jodoin (B.S. engineering-mechanical ’85), director of design and engineering, Disneyland Resort
- Henry Martinez (B.S. engineering-electrical ’75), vice president, power production, Southern California Edison.
