Classic Rock Performing at ‘First Night Fullerton’

Everything from rhythm and blues to swing will be in the spotlight New Year’s Eve when the band “Superlark” performs at the 22nd Annual “First Night Fullerton,” which is on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 from 7 p.m. to 12 midnight.

“First Night” is the city’s annual New Year’s Eve party, offering family oriented, alcohol-free activities at numerous locations in the streets, sidewalks and buildings in Fullerton’s historic downtown. A 10-minute fireworks finale will cap the celebration at midnight. The festivities begin at 7 p.m., and admission is free.

The “First Night” program began in Boston in 1976, as a cap to the nation’s bicentennial. The event’s goal is to broaden public appreciation of the visual and performing arts while offering an alternative to the traditional New Year’s Eve celebrations which focus on alcohol and drinking.
