The Board accepted $40,000 from the City of Anaheim and $40,000 from the City of Fullerton to open the Fullerton Armory Emergency Shelter for approximately an additional 18 days.
Both Cities recently notified OC Community Resources of their desire to provide additional funding to the County to support the early opening of the Fullerton Armory Emergency Shelter beyond the operational days supported by County.
The additional $80,000 in funding from the Cities will be transferred to the County by grant agreements and allow the Fullerton Armory Shelter to open approximately 18 days earlier in November.
