HopScotch, Orange County’s premier destination for crafted American cuisine, whiskey, and craft beer, is pleased to announce its October beer pairing dinner featuring Brash Brewing Company.
Scheduled Wednesday, October 2, the five-course dinner presented by executive chef Cody Storts will be paired with beer selections from Brash Brewing Company of Ipswich, Massachusetts. Guests can look forward to courses including duck liver mousse, a pancetta-crusted Cornish game hen, and pork tenderloin, among other dishes. Featured Brash beers will include Texas Exile American Imperial Porter (TXEX), Item Nine Wheat IPA, Skankin’ Dirty American Double IPA, and Hot Fuzz American Imperial Double Stout.
Named Massachusetts’ Best New Brewery of 2012 by ratebeer.com, the HopScotch dinner will serve as Brash’s first culinary pairing. Brash owner and brewer Ben Fullelove is flying in from Massachusetts for the dinner, and will be available to discuss his beers with guests. “We’re absolutely thrilled to partner with HopScotch for our very first pairing experience,” said Fullelove. “In addition to their impressive beverage programs, Chef Cody is creating something very special that’s not to be overlooked.”
