“September 11 evokes a strong appearance on the psyche of Americans. It has brought lingering sadness and longing from its sudden tragedy twelve years ago. Yet, Americans have now grown with more understanding apparent in the turmoil of countries on this planet,” says, Dick Moore.
Civic wonder has sprung cohesion across the continent. Americans stand for freedom and willingly practice patriotism through the American Flag, help from and with friends, through supporting troupes and at home civic adoration for those who get between citizens and tragedy. Firemen face their duty in perpetual readiness to shield citizens from danger and to rescue those who are wounded.
On behalf of the firemen and in gratitude for the devotion given to the safety of our cities, the Fullerton Elks Lodge No. 1993, members decided to show appreciation of the heroic firemen. On 911-day Fullerton Elks Lodge members provided cooked meals for 71 firemen on duty in four cities: Brea, Fullerton, Placentia and Yorba Linda.
